Wild Mushroom Identification Field Tour with Hood Canal Adventures

Join Herpetologist and Professional Forager, Jerry Novak for a 2.5 hour wild mushroom identification walking tour through the Olympic National Forest! Learn about edible and non-edible mushrooms, foraging skills and how to make a spore print! Bring a harvesting basket or purchase one in at Hood Canal Adventures’ shop for some after class foraging!

These tours are offered every weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in October through early December.

Meet at the Hood Canal Adventure store, located at 306146 Hwy 101 N in Brinnon, Washington between 10:00 and 10:25 a.m. to sign in for a 10:30 departure in the company’s tour van. Pups are welcome, children 6 and under are free with a paying adult. Tickets cost $69 and spots are limited. If you bring your pups, small children, or just choose to, you may follow in your own vehicle.
