Ride the rails this October at the historic Simpson Railroad in Shelton. Choose between the evening “Fright Train” ride through the haunted sorting yard or take part in the family-friendly “Pumpkin Pickers Special” — better yet, try both!

Evening Fright Train: Take a frightening ride on our evening fright train through the haunted sorting yard, but be prepared for some spooks and ghouls to join you on this frightening ride! Advanced ticket purchase required. Ages 12 and older only, unless accompanied by an adult. Tickets cost $20.

Dates and Times: October 20 and 21, from 5 to 9 P.M. Rides depart every 30 minutes.

Pumpkin Pickers Special: Fun for the whole family! Ride the rails through our sorting yard, stop and visit the haunted coach. Kids get to visit our pumpkin patch to take a pumpkin home and participate in many other kid activities! Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gates. Tickets cost $15.

Dates and Times: October 21, from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. and October 22, from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Rides depart every hour.

This is an outside event, so come prepared and dressed appropriately for weather conditions.
