Explore Mason County Treasure Hunt is a one-day treasure hunt with the goal of promoting Mason County tourism, building community and raising funds for educational scholarships. Mason County has an abundance of great businesses, scenery, parks, food and beverage venues along with shopping and recreational opportunities.

Participants are given a map that they follow to gather “treasures” at locations throughout the County. Visit shops, natural and tourism attraction around Hood Canal, and win prizes and get special discounts at each “stop.” Prizes are also awarded to the group that cover the most ground.

At 4:00 PM the treasure hunters are invited to an after party at Green Diamond’s Mason Lake Park where their will be food, beer garden, live music and more prizes!

$25 participation fee includes T-shirt and map. The fee covers your entire group but additional t-shirts must be purchased separately. Register Here for this fun event!

Event Additional Information

The objective of the project is to promote tourism, businesses, active living and the exploration of what Mason County has to offer. The secondary goal is to build a stronger community by encouraging people to get out and experience Mason County while helping raise funds for Mason County education-based scholarships.

This project to showcases over fifty unique experiences around Hood Canal. It will promote people of all ages and abilities to get out and enjoy the beautiful resources that are also known as Mason County. This will build a stronger community as well as raise funds to provide educational scholarships for Mason County students.
