Join the Great Bend Chorale and Youth Chorale on the Lady Alderbrook as we lead a two-hour lighted boat parade around the Great Bend of Hood Canal in this 1st annual holiday event!

The Lady Alderbrook will depart from Alderbrook Resort at 7PM and during a two-hour cruise the choirs will sing Christmas carols which will be broadcast both by speaker outside the Lady Alderbrook, and by FM transmitter to the Union and Hoodsport communities. In addition to the musical entertainment and the beautiful Hood Canal holiday views, the limited number of guests onboard will enjoy a seafood buffet (chowder, oysters, crab claws and more) with a selection holiday desserts and a no-host bar. Tickets for this special event are $100 and there are only 30 tickets available so order quickly! .

Those on board will enjoy a cruise of the south shore, departing from the Alderbrook Resort & Spa dock and heading east to an approximate turnaround at mile marker 8. Staying mid-channel, the parade will return to Union and at Hood Canal Marina they’ll make another turn to cruise the shoreline and finish back at Alderbrook Resort. 

But that's not all!

To involve the entire community, waterfront homes and businesses along State Route 106 along the length of the cruise route (about mile marker 5 to about mile marker 8) are invited to participate in a holiday decoration contest that will be decided from the Lady Alderbrook by a panel of celebrity judges and our guests in two categories: Best of Show and People's Choice. Proceeds from what we hope will become a wonderful annual community event will support Great Bend's community music programs and our upcoming performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
