Calm water, no boat traffic, a front row view of the moon, and a chance to see bioluminescence make this a very special experience.
Hosted by the trained guides at Blue Horizon Paddlesports, kayakers get to know the gear and each other for a few minutes and work together to hit the water. All cozy in tandem kayaks, head west toward the mouth of the Skokomish River, stopping to look for bioluminescence as the sky gets inky dark.
Depending on conditions; we might learn about astronomy, bioluminescence, lunar folklore, or nighttime marine life behavior.
No experience necessary, lights provided, $69/person.
